What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy + EFT?

Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is a gentle, evidence-based approach that focuses on the present and the future rather than analysing the past.

Using light trance (similar to day dreaming), we access the subconscious mind - the part that drives habits, emotions, and automatic responses - and gently rewire it toward calm, confidence and wellbeing.

You stay fully in control and aware throughout. It’s simply a deeply relaxed state where positive change happens more easily.

Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as EFT or "tapping"), combines modern psychology with ancient acupressure.

By gently tapping on specific points on the body while focusing on certain thoughts or emotions, EFT sends calming signals to the brain, telling it that it’s safe to relax.

This process lowers stress hormones, regulates the nervous system and helps release anxiety, overwhelm or emotional blocks

Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy Sessions

 

Gentle, forward-focused hypnotherapy designed to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, increase motivation and restore calm.

Each session helps your subconscious reframe unhelpful patterns and focus on solutions - so progress feels light, natural and lasting. I recommend at least 10 sessions to see lasting results but each case varies. 

 45-60 mins | £85 per session / £480 for a block of 6 / £900 for a block of 12

EFT + Hypnotherapy Combo

 

A deeply restorative session combining EFT (tapping) and Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy.


We begin with EFT to release emotional tension and calm your nervous system, before moving into hypnosis to rewire your subconscious and create calm, confident new patterns.

Stop Smoking / Vaping Session

 

A focused single session to help you quit smoking or vaping.


We’ll work directly with your subconscious to remove cravings, strengthen your confidence, and identify as a 'non-smoker'.

Fears & Phobias Session

 

A three-session hypnotherapy process to release specific fears and phobias 

 We’ll retrain your subconscious and primitive brain to not fear your phobia so you feel more in control.

Hi, I'm Katie - your therapist!

 

I'm a Clinical Hypnotherapist, EFT Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner based in Edinburgh (but from Australia!).

I specialise in helping people reduce anxiety, calm their nervous systems and create lasting emotional balance through evidence-based therapy and subconscious work.

My interest in this work started in my mid-20s when my self esteem was at rock bottom and I was struggling with anxiety and depression. I delved headfirst into therapy and working on my mindset.

Finding subconscious mindset work, specifically hypnotherapy and EFT, changed everything. It gave me tools to finally feel calm again, without having to overanalyse the past or push through with willpower alone.

Now, I blend clinical hypnotherapy, solution-focused techniques and modern emotional regulation tools like EFT to create a tailored approach for each person I work with.

Clients often describe my approach as calm, grounded and easy to talk to - a safe space to release what’s been weighing you down and reconnect with a sense of peace and clarity.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, phobias or habits you can’t seem to shake, my role is to guide you gently toward lasting change, so you can finally feel like yourself again.
